LITERARY PUBLISHING - READERSHIP AND INTERNATIONAL MARKETS
Information on the activity
April 26, 2024 | 11 H
What are the specific features of literary publishing when it comes to opening up new markets through the sale of rights? How do local references in a literary work sometimes become universal… and sometimes not? Is a writer’s natural readership primarily that of his or her home country? What are the current trends at book fairs? Some players discuss these issues: Anton Hur, translator and writer; Erik Jonsson, writer, publisher and Littfest Festival programmer; Julianne Mooney Siron, director of the Dublin Book Fair.
In part with the support of the Quebec Government.
